Feel the Scenary

Landscapes are densifications of meanings and individual experiences from the perspective of humanistic geography. Places are full of memories, feelings and stories – open and hidden emotions.

Luutarha (The Bone Garden) is a modern folk dance theatre piece created by dance artist Elena Vuoksiola. The work has been inspired by landscapes and scenaries in Oulu – Nallikari beach, Intiö cemetery and Lasaretinsaari island. As an individual part of the dance theatre piece Luutarha Vuoksiola wants to give the audience an opportunity to share their own place bound emotional memories anonymously. Everyone can participate in these collective word clouds from their own starting points.
